These Author Guidelines establish the requirements for the preparation, formatting, and submission of manuscripts to Sapiens Evolución Científica (SEC) (ISSN: 3072-8193).
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions fully comply with these instructions prior to initiating the submission process. Adherence to these guidelines facilitates editorial evaluation, improves the quality of scientific presentation, and contributes to the efficient management of the publication process.
The journal accepts the following categories of contributions:
Original Research Articles report novel findings derived from completed scientific research.
Suggested length: 3,200–7,000 words.
Recommended structure:
Systematic Reviews provide rigorous and reproducible syntheses of the available scientific evidence on a specific topic.
Authors are encouraged to follow the PRISMA 2020 Guidelines whenever applicable.
Suggested length: 3,500–8,000 words.
Critical and integrative analyses of the current state of knowledge within a particular field.
Suggested length: 3,000–7,000 words.
Theoretical developments, methodological proposals, analytical frameworks, or innovative conceptual models.
Suggested length: 3,000–7,000 words.
Preliminary findings, research updates, or specific contributions of scientific relevance.
Suggested length: 2,000–3,500 words.
Rigorous analyses of experiences, territories, projects, programs, policies, or interventions related to the journal’s thematic areas.
Suggested length: 3,000–5,000 words.
